Some crazy people seem to think that getting in the see when its FREEZING cold and the waves are massive, is a good idea and somehow enjoyable.... this to me is pure madness! However it does make for some good photography!!! So I took myself to Porthleven today and this is what the crazy people were up too.

Shot these at a mix of locations.....check out the top image....a poor translation can be pritty funny, apparently in Bulgaria they serve Chicken with garbage....what ever that means.

I love people and how you can capture a bit of who they are if you can capture them in a a=moment when they do not know they are being photographed. It is slowly becoming a bit of an obsession.

Went for a wonder this afternoon round Truro city, these are the resulting shots.

I thought the picture of the de-faced David Cameron was particularly amusing.

The shots I like the most however are the Black and white portraits of the people.

Went out to photograph in Truro town centre, got peckish so went and got some chips from the kebab shop, these two legends spotted that we had cameras and were adamant on posing for a photo so like the friendly photographer i obliged!

This is the start of a series of images I aim to carry on adding to over time.

I shot the images in the studio using a Hasselblad camera with digital back, using colour gels to get the different colour backgrounds.

I took these photos of the bins because I liked the lighting and the irony in the fact that the bins are there but the rubbish is on the floor.

Old school bike in the centre of Truro. Shot at about midnight.

These two portraits were shot using only the available street lighting and light from christmas lights in the street.

Frank organized a charity gig at bar200 and raised £580 for the charity "send a cow"

The top image is of the amazing Tom Weeks whos current solo project seems VERY worth wile as his set was AMAZING!! if you get the to see him....DO!!

Got a phone call from Kirstin sying the surf was good so went along and took some shots.

Kirstin was nice enough to lend me his Canon 5D mk2 with a 400mm prime L lens.

what a weekend!!! been at Watergate bay for two days of Zap cats boat racing and then spent sunday at Landrake for the Landrake maxxis nationals. had an amazing time and took LOTS of photos.

Birds everywhere

Had two days off work this (for a change) and the weather has actualy been nice! Dry at the very least! so iv been lucky! spent a few hours down on Newquay Gannel. keeping my eyes peeled and managed to see some pritty sweet sites! Bar taled Godwit, Ringed Plover, Canada goose and common sand pipers. All i had never seen before so i was pleased with that.

There have been quite a few additions to my website recently so PLEASE go and have a look. aswell as a couple of the pictures from my time on the gannel being on there.

Me and my girl friend went out to Tehidy woods for the morning. We enjoyed the nice weather and i managed to snap a few nice shots of some of the birds. This is one of the final ones that will make it onto my website very soon!!

just got a new bunch of kit! canon 50d and a 70-200 l usm lens. cost me far more than i can afford! but more than worth it! TOTALY AMAZING PIECE OF KIT! Cant wait to get out and use it properly! will keep u all posted on future projects and how the 50D performs!

as promised here are some images from my recent trip to Egypt to see the great pyramids!

the HOTTEST day i have ever experienced but also one full of culture and amazing facts.

you can see in one of the images how the modern city borders the site of the pyramids as if old and new are blending.

well I am back from Egypt...what a two weeks that was!
Bloody hot...MASSIVE great big triangles in the sand, (pyramids) and the most amazing fish you have ever seen in their natural habitat swimming just cm from your face!!
will find out what the state of play is with my website in a few hours so i will keep you posted on that, along with a few pictures from my trip to Egypt to be posted aswell!

So, this is a new thing for me, I will be using this blog site to keep anyone who is interested up to date on what is going on, along side my website that I will have up and running ASAP thanks to Twinny photography and design, www.twinny.org.uk these boys are amazing! (i will be sure to inform you as soon as my site is up and running)

having just been through and set this up, I am going to be going on holiday on tuesday (16th june) for two weeks to Egypt, so i wont be up dating this blog in that time but i am sure i will have lots of stories and pictures to upload once i am back.
